These are all conditions which will have an effect on the quality of your life and they may be eased by physiotherapy treatment – helping you to get back to feeling fit and well.

At St Johns Physiotherapy our fully qualified physiotherapists are very experienced and can treat a huge range of conditions and symptoms. We treat adults and children of all ages to help reduce discomfort and regain mobility. We aim for long-term well-being and will advise on how to follow a lifestyle that minimises the risk of your symptoms returning.

THE WAY WE WORK
When you contact St Johns Physiotherapy Practice your care and well-being is our priority.

Our receptionist will book an initial consultation for you with one of our physiotherapists. At this time we will assess you to decide whether or not physiotherapy is right for you. If treatment is appropriate then the proposed treatment plan will be explained in detail and agreed with you. It will include detail of the type of treatment you may need, and explain the exercises you will need to work on at home. It will also give you an opportunity to discuss and ask any questions you may have.

We aim to offer a physiotherapy appointment within 48 hours of you speaking to our receptionist, and we are available between 8am and 8pm on Mondays to Fridays.

You do not require a referral from your GP or consultant, but we do liaise and work closely alongside them. If at any time we feel that physiotherapy is not appropriate for your particular condition then we will tell you this and refer you to an appropriate healthcare professional.
